The Kangaroo Valley location for Marissa’s amazing winter wedding was divine. The day was planned down to the finest detail. The gown had to have sleeves and sparkle.

Marissa is a photographer and designer. Her strong visual aesthetic and sense of personal style allowed us to craft a design that wasn’t hemmed in by regular conventions, from the blush pink colour to the brass anchor button fastening the back.

The gown has a silk satin base, with tulle overlay and sequined inserts and accents. The fabrics and colours were sourced to create a depth and richness of textures complimented by the setting and amazing floral arrangements. This design was put together with a number of fittings and toile’s on the body, in the studio.

    Hi Keera,
    Your designs are absolutely stunning.
I came across Marissa’s amazing dress and wondered if it would be possible to recreate something similar? Possibly using an emerald green colour?
Can I ask that usual time required to make a gown, if not designing from scratch (say, using Marissa’s gown as inspiration)? Also, what is your typical price range?
    Many thanks
    Briana
